Senior Systems Engineer (SAP specialist) Team Leader role and 2IC to the IT Manager for a large Kiwi retail company.

 

 

Are you an experienced Senior Systems Engineer and have extensive exposure to supporting users in a SAP environment. This is a Team Leaders role and is 2IC to the IT Manager at a large Kiwi retail company. Interested? Then call us today. 

 

Our client is looking for someone with a strong knowledge of SAP to support the business and lead a small service team.

 

Specific responsibilities:

• Team leadership, mentoring and coaching
• Provide User, Network & Server support (Microsoft Exchange)
• Data protection
• Updating systems documentation
• Champion the IT protocols
• Relationship management of internal / external suppliers

 

To be successful you will :

• Have 5-6years experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualified
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
• Have extensive SAP experience
• Have proven leadership experience
• Be structured in all elements of your work
• Have extensive backup technologies experience
• Have 3-4 years experience in an enterprise network environment
• A big picture person but be prepared to be hands on and get your hands dirty
• Be a diplomat when dealing with less technical colleagues yet a stickler for the companies IT protocols
